RE-ORIENTATION:
We have received quite a few requests from students to register for the following moots after their respective deadlines had expired. We have decided to re-orient both the moots in view of the requests. However, students must keep in mind that this course is being adopted only because one major factor for such late applications could be the ongoing vacations and hence the inability to stay informed about the moots being oriented. Please keep in mind that such exceptions will not be made in future and we will adhere to the deadlines strictly. This is the first and the last time that a deadline is being relaxed, in this session. The moots are:
1. NATIONAL POOL:
4th NALSAR- NFCG Corporate Law Moot Court Competition:
NALSAR in collaboration with the National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) is hosting the 4th edition of the Moot Court Competition to further interest in the fast-evolving field of Corporate Law. The 3rd edition of the moot was organized in April 2011.
There is a memorial round before the confirmation of the 24 selected teams who will take part in the moot. The soft copy submission is due on 4th July, 2015 and the oral rounds begin on July 10, 2015.

2. INTERNATIONAL POOL:
Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition 2015:
We have to nominate a team of three people- 2 speakers and 1 researcher for the competition. It will be held from 17-20 September 2015. The rules do not provide us with the precise date of the memorial submission. However, they do mention that as a general rule it is one week prior to the start of the Moot Court competition.
The problem for the moot is accessible at http://www.isil-aca.org/downl…/…/moot_court_problem-2015.pdf and the rules are accessible athttp://www.isil-aca.org/download/…/moot_court_rules-2015.pdf .
There is a slight chance that this moot may clash with the end terms. In that case, the people who pick up this moot will be allowed to withdraw and no penalty will be given by the MCA. Please note, this notice takes effect from 12.00 midnight. Any registrations made for 4th NALSAR-NFGC Corporate Law Moot Court Competition before midnight from the International Pool under the Cross Orientation notice dated 13th June, 2015 will be entertained. However, this will not be the case for Henry Durant as the deadline already expired.
