Researcher's Test for XIth K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court, 2015

All those who wish to pick up the said moot as a researcher, please note that there will be a researcher's test for this moot on 8th August, 2014 at 2.00 p.m in the Academic Block I. The moot has been picked up by Neham Tayal and Malvika Yadav from the National Moot Pool 2013-14. The test paper is problem specific.

OPEN CHALLENGE

An open challenge for the following international moot is being conducted by the MCA:
3rd International Banking and Investment Law Moot Court Competition 2014
The moot problem is basically related to arbitration of investment/banking issues. The oral rounds are scheduled from 10-12 October, 2014 (Friday-Sunday) at Seedling College of Law, Jaipur National University, Jaipur. The soft copy submission is 25th September and the hard copy submission is 1st October 2014. 
The new policy regarding open challenges will not be applied for this moot.
Those interested may send a mail indicating their willingness to participate in the moot to mca.nliu@gmail.com latest by 8th August, 2014 (11.59 p.m).

5th NLIU-Juris Corp National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition, 2014

National Law Institute University, Bhopal, in collaboration with Juris Corp Advocates & Solicitors is organizing the 5th NLIU-Juris Corp National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition, 2014, from 5th to 7th September, 2014.

As has been the tradition, this year's problem is also based on contemporary issues on corporate law in India. Further, this moot is the only one in the country to adopt the unique method of dynamic seeding for the teams to ensure a just and fair competition.

Along with the Moot Court Competition, NLIU will also be hosting a Paper Presentation Competition, open to all students, in their 3rd and 4th year, participating in the moot court competition.

NATIONAL MOOT POOL SELECTIONS 2014-15

Please find attached the link to the Moot Proposition for the National moot pool selections for the session 2014-15. The oral rounds of the same will be held on 13th and 14th September, 2014. The memorial submissions are scheduled on 9th September, 2014 and no extensions will be granted under any circumstances. Students are thus requested not to ask for an extension. The detailed rules and regulations for the selections shall be released soon.
Note: The problem has been drafted by Mr. Bishen Jeswant. Any attempt to communicate with him regarding the problem shall be considered as Unfair Means and shall entail a punishment of suspension of the student(s) from all MCA activities for the session 2014-2015.

OPEN CHALLENGE NOTICE

The following moot has not been picked up by the members of the pool:
7th GNLU International Moot Court Competition (GIMC ‘15) to be held between the 4th and 8th of February, 2015 at GNLU, Gandhinagar.
Those who wish to take part in an open challenge for the same, please send in a mail to mca.nliu@gmail.com latest by 1st August, 2014 (11.59 pm).

OPEN CHALLENGE NOTICE:



The following moot was offered to the National Pool 2013-14 but was not opted for by the requisite number of members:
1. 5th SLCU National Moot Court Competition, 2014:
The competition is scheduled to be held from 4th to 7th September 2014 at School of Law, Christ University Campus, Bangalore. The problem is based on Constitutional law and Environmental law. The soft copy submission for the competition is on 25th August and the hard copy submission on 31st August 2014.
Interested students must register themselves by sending a mail to mca.nliu@gmail.com. The team must comprise of two speakers and one researcher. Registration of any team will not be accepted unless details of all the members are provided. The deadline for registering the team is 1st August, 2014(11. 59 pm).
The date of the open challenge round will be announced subsequent to the registration process.
