Intra Batch Moot Court Competition, 2011-12

The Annual Intra Batch Moot will be conducted on 25th and 26th February 2012. Interested students are required to register themselves by sending their team composition to mca.nliu@gmail.com. The team may comprise of a minimum of 2 students (both speakers) or a maximum or 3 students (2 speakers and 1 researcher). The team may be comprised of students from the first, second and third years.

The last date for registration of your teams is 10th February. The date for submission of memorials is 22nd February 2012. Further details regarding the modalities of submission and memorial drafting guidelines will be issued closer to the date of submission.

The 25th and 26th of February will see the completion of the preliminary rounds. In the preliminary rounds teams will argue twice, once from each side. On the completion of the preliminary rounds a second moot problem will be released. The quarters, semis and finals will be argued on the basis of this second moot problem. There will be around one week of preparation time and the knockout rounds will consequently be held a week after the prelims.

2nd NLIU – Juris Corp National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2011

It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that National law Institute University, Bhopal in collaboration with Juris Corp, Advocates & Solicitors will be hosting the second edition of the NLIU – Juris Corp National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition from November 4th – 6th 2011.

We extend a very warm invitation on behalf of Juris Corp, Advocates & Solicitors and the entire National Law Institute University fraternity.

The Moot Proposition as well as the Rules & Regulations have been attached to this post. The information is also available on the NLIU website (http://www.nliu.ac.in/). Clarifications with respect to the moot proposition or rules, if any, shall been mailed to you, as well as put up on the NLIU website and this blog. This edition of the moot will be offering Rs.50,000 to the winners, the highest ever for any Indian Moot. The Registration Form is given at the end of the Rules & Regulations.
